The Waves of Dissonance
Hello again! After being on ice for a year, and then in traction for months undergoing INTENSE editing, my novel is now back out on the streets. First stop: a few trusted readers have agreed to critique it ONE LAST time. (Ha. Like anyone who knows me believes this is the last time!) Still, this version is sleeker (went from 107k words to 88k!) and has a new title: The Waves of Dissonance. What do you think?
Note for reference: Depending on which source you check, my word-count isn't that far off from my all-time favorite books (Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, @ 83k, and Margaret Atwood's A Handmaid's Tale, @ 101k!)
Ever since January, when I took a new day job, I've been getting up at 4 or 5 am to write/edit before work, doing the same during lunch, and hitting it again hard in the evenings and weekends. While it's out for review, I'm going to recharge and do the Happy Dance... and get ready for the next round.
